Communities Made SimpleWhy I ScheduleThere's always rumors of scheduling or 3rd party tools affecting reach... But even if that is the case... I'll continue to schedule out my content. Not because I "don't care" about my reach. But because I'm willing to make the trade for the freedom that scheduling provides. Scheduling out my content ahead of time allows me the peace of mind to create content at my own pace. Without the worry of having to rush through it just to get a post out on time. There's a never ending list of things that need to be done within the business, as I'm sure you can relate to with your own experience... Stressing about creating same-day posts is NOT the way I want to spend my time. If I'm going to be on social media... the point is to be making connections. To be authentically engaging with my community. Giving value in not just my posts, but my replies as well. But sometimes I'm not in the right state to handle the mental effort it takes to engage with all that value. So, scheduling my content allows me to create when I have the capacity for it. To match that, I've said it before... but I have my notifications OFF for social media. I don't let the red dot control when I show up on the platform. I show up when I have the mental capacity to engage with the honest intent to provide value. It might not be the most "efficient" way or the "fastest" way to run my business. But, it's what works for me. The goal is not to trade a 9-5 for a 24/7. It's to create a business I can interact with at my own pace to focus on the things I want to focus on. So for me... using 3rd party tools and scheduling content has been priceless for creating a system that will last. I personally use BlackTwist for my own scheduling. But that's not just because I'm an affiliate. When I started on Threads, I found their #Threads100 challenge and thought participating would help me get my feet off the ground and my content journey started in the right direction. And boy was I right. The consistency challenge was exactly what I needed to get myself moving, and to force myself into continued action. So even before I became an affiliate, I decided to promote them. You've probably seen me mention them on occasion within my feed (or if you bought my first guide)! So, as long as they stay the course, and keep their focus on creators and stay as active within the community as they have been... I'll support them. Because...
